Regular Submission Deadline: March 4, 2025

Regular submission deadline is March 4. Take advantage of submission fees during this time. Click the "Submit a Film" button at the top of our website to enter your film into our festival. If you miss this deadline, then don't worry, we have a late and extended deadlines.

Attendees and Users

When and Where is the festival?

Please check our updates section for any potential events and announcements. If we have any events, they will be posted there. Otherwise, our festival will be held online at the "Festival Dates" listed in the Dates and Deadlines section.

How can we watch the festival films?

If you don't attend our festival in person, you can create an account at Streamtacular.com. After signing up and verifying your email, you will be able to watch films during the scheduled festival time. The "Watch Now" option will only be available during the festival runtime.

I tried to register but didn’t receive a verification email. What should I do?

Check your SPAM folder first. Also, ensure that your email address was entered correctly. If you still don’t receive the verification email, contact us at support@streamtacular.com.

Directors

How long will my film be shown?

Films are shown during the festival season. After the festival schedule ends, they will be removed. Films are usually divided into weekly screenings, but this scheduling may change.

Where will my film be shown?

Your film will be shown during the festival season. We announce in-person venues when available and provide online streaming. We also offer geo-blocking options for restricted access.

Can I restrict my film to certain countries?

Yes! We have a geo-blocking feature that allows restrictions. We are integrating this into our director's film editor. Contact us at support@streamtacular.com for custom restrictions.

How can I hide or remove my film?

You can manage your film’s visibility through the "Edit My Films" section in your account. If you need further assistance, contact us via the email associated with your film.

I have a Streamtacular account. Where are my film(s)?

If your Streamtacular account is registered with the same email that is associated with your Film Freeway submission(s), Streamtacular will automatically associate your film with your account. After which your account will then display a "Directors/Film-Makers" menu with further options to edit your film's settings.

Online? Does this mean anyone can watch? .. And share?

Yes and no. Anyone with a registered Streamtacular account can attend and watch the films during season schedule. Any films opted-in to stream out of season will be available. In some cases links to films can be shared, but the films can only be viewed through Streamtacular.com and/or PSIAF.org. Users who follow a film's share link will need to login, create and verify their account before being able to watch films.

Do I need to send a copy of my film to Streamtacular?

Chances are you already did! How? We obtain a copy of your film via Film Freeway, so chances are you do not need to do anything further. You can go into your Streamtacular account and click "Directors/Film-Makers" -> "Edit My Films": This will show you all your films you have submitted to us. Here you can view the version you sent us. If you need to update the version of your film, please contact us: support@streamtacular.com and we can assist in updating the film for you. Please keep in mind your account email must be the same as the film's associated email submitted on FilmFreeway in order for your film to show in your account.

I want to contribute my film to play on Streamtacular out of season. Is this possible?

If you want your film to play out of season, then you can opt-in via your Streamtacular profile settings. You must have an account with an email associated with your Film Freeway submission(s) or otherwise have a direct submission with us. This allows you to edit the film's parameters and options allowing you to choose to allow your film to show out of season. Please note that Streamtacular.com and PSIAF.org can disable or remove the availability of your film at their discretion.
